That's a Wrap..

The carpet is in, the new couches have arrived and My Better Half surprised me with this:
Isn't it beautiful? That would be my in-wall ironing board! Who knew that a girl could get sooo excited about ironing!?! *There is a little history behind this new-fangled gadget. I wanted it put in when we built the house. A battle that I unfortunately lost. So, the fact that Kyle not only surprised me with it, but installed it while I was at work, was a real treat!*

Also, I found this steal! It's a Toy Chest, but we use it to put our shoes and gloves in as we come through the back door! Pretty ingenious, I thought. It doubles as a bench to. All of which was followed up with a new coat rack....

**Kyle has decided that I need one just for my purses. **

I think the transformation is complete. We are done remodeling things...for now!

How fun! That ironing board looks neat. And the toy box as a shoe holder is a great idea!

They used to have those ironing boards in old, old houses. Glad to see they are making a comeback!

If I actually ironed, that would be cool! Your hubby was very sweet to do that for you!

I'm jealous of your in-wall ironing board. I've just been hoping to get one that attaches to the back of the door. Bryan's mom has an in-wall ironing board complete with a timer on the iron. I'll tell you a secret about ironing though: it's a lot easier to get your clothes wrinkle free and ironing goes faster when you live in humid Missouri vs arid Utah.

Sweet! I love surprises. Although I don't know if I'd love an ironing surprise. But I'm glad he's been paying attention. ;)
