California: Adventure Two (Drive-Through Tree)

We were in absolute awe for the majority of our trip. Having never seen coastal Redwoods before, we didn't know what to expect....Until you see them in person and are given perspective nothing prepares you for the sheer size of these phenomenons.

The Chandelier Tree. A tree so large you can actually drive through it..
Well, we tried to drive through it. Our truck, unfortunately, was a few inches too wide.

Darn that you were just a touch too wide for the tree pass. That is so cool. I was there as a child, but yes, I've forgotten their majesty. Thanks for the memories!
