Thoughts on Sunday

>>  Sunday, March 7, 2010

I'm positive that Sunday is synonymous with nap. I am not the napping type. On Sunday however, I would nap all day if the world would let me.

It doesn't matter what time my family gets going on Sunday morning, or how prepared we are, there is a time warp that we enter approximately 45-50 minutes prior to the first church hour. It never fails, the world falls apart in that time warp. Shoes disappear, spills down the front of suits, skirts and ties appear and it's a struggle to get to the meeting house on time.

Sunday evening just isn't complete without a good heavy meal. I feel cheated {in a sense} without an over indulgent meal set on the table.

Sundays are my least favorite days of the week, yet they tend to be the most fulfilling. All of my dislike has to do with the fact that it's a sign that a new week is upon us. Simply put, I hate Mondays.

I love your kitty picture! Reminds me of my kitty...

Sundays are pretty relaxing for us around here. Definitely an afternoon nap day!

Sundays are definitely for napping. I got in a nice, long nap today.

No nap for us today. Living room make-over!

We have 1 pm church now and I think that time warp thing is happening a little less for us these days. Though for the last 6 years it seems it's been an ever constant sunday thing for us too! Crazy.

I don't get to take a nap for an ENTIRE YEAR. And I am totally a nap person. But if I don't make a fancy schmancy dessert, my family will riot.

I used to always tear something before I went to church. Usually my pantyhose.
