Notes From Headquarters:
At first, I was taken aback by the idea of a map. My initial thought was "this is my home town...I know where things are". I didn't take long before I realized that if being in survival mode was because of a natural disaster things may not be as easily recognizable and a map could be an asset. For that matter..one might want to consider throwing a compass in with your map. I know my sense of direction can be lacking and I would hate to discover that in a stressful situation.
9 Pepsi Points :
Feminine Hygiene products. Good one. Think maybe reusable tampons would come in handy for this?
i think a map is an excellant idea.... even though i live in a small town.. i will even admit that i dont know where everything is!
Laxative ???
I always forget to add the feminine hygiene products. Argh!
Maps are a great idea, same w/the compass. Laxatives??? I was thinking OTC and Rx meds, not laxatives!!! Keeping us on our toes? Also, antibacterial cleanser is good to have also make sure everyone has sturdy walking shoes.
Thanks for these great tips, I appreciate it.
Great list. Thank you again for doing this.
I so love these posts! I am trying to get prepared, but for what, I am not sure! LOL
Ya see?! This is why I love you...I would have completely left out the feminine hygiene items!
As I write this, you are enjoying your bloggy birthday party! I wish I was there! I know it's going to be absolutely fabulous...how could it not? You are there for heaven's sake!
What a great idea! I was just thinking that I needed to get my act together and get more prepared.
I completely enjoyed meeting you yesterday!
