With each long lost friend found, a high is reached. Only to discover that it is met with a new low that sends me to the 'Friend Finder' to search out others. I stood my ground for as long as I could, but there is no fight left in me. For the first few weeks (since I last mentioned FB, here at An Eagles View), I've been in, then out. I've activated and then de-activated my account. As of now, I'm in. I am now a Facebooker.
I still think its quirky, and I don't quite get it. I view it as a twitter like substance on steroids.. with pictures. Because of this, I dumped my twitter account. Who needs to Tweet when you can FB. Seriously?!
I do how ever miss the creativity that my blog allows me. Its hard for me to really express myself with no pictures and a 4"x4" box asking me 'whats on your mind'. Its kind of like being pushed on to a stage with a squealing mic. I'm not quite feelin all of that -yet.
I'm sure the new-ness <--is that a word, will wear off and I will find myself searching for an appropriate rehab. Until then, I'm off to find some runners to deal this drug to. *Interesting Article*

I just do not get Facebook! Maybe because I have no desire to seek out anyone from highschool, etc. LOL
I was telling my friends yesterday that I waste all of my "extra" time blogging, I don't have time to waste on Facebook! But I'm glad you are having so much fun!
I know lots of people being drawn in by Facebook these days! I have an account but have done absolutely nothing with it! I am too overwhelmed with everything else!
(I love the whole squealing mic thingy! lol!)
That's funny because I feel the opposite way. If an old friend contacted me via facebook, I'd have to shoot up just to get over the fact I had been contacted.
See, and I prefer myspace. It's easier to maneuver.
Facebook is just 50 kinds of complicated.
I can only handle one addiction at a time....
Oh tell me about it, it is very addicting just like blogging ;)
I was just talking to my friend tonight about how I really prefer FB. I only check my account about once a week.
Love my Facebook, and some days are more addicting than others, but nothing will replace my blog. It will just one day, I'm sure, but Facebook is great. After your established it settles down and is not quite the consuption it tends to be in the early stages!
awwhhhhh nice to see you have come to the dark side!
Facebook is fun! I like it a lot. It is addictive at first, but for me that mostly faded and now it's just kind of fun when I go on. I think it's so funny that you've given in to the temptation and joined. I'm going to have to find you and friend you!
I love Facebook. I like the bits and pieces and randomness of the updates. I love the chat box! I LOVE Mousehunt!
I'm on Facebook, but since it's blocked at work I don't get on as much. It's daunting to catch up when I get home.
Blogging is the pure stuff--the really good stuff. Facebook is the cheap stuff you get from the corner dealer.
I like Fiauna's comment. Ditto.
I am not on Facebook, but I know many are. Have fun!
