Allergy season has begun and I.AM.MISERABLE. already!

As I drove to work this morning, I realized that it was a lot lighter than usual. Despite the light dusting of snow that covered the ground overnight, it’s a sure sign that spring is just around the corner.

I got an email this morning letting me know that my adsense for Blog Stalkers Unite has been disabled, due to “suspect click activity”. Serious!? Really? Oh well, they can have my whole $3.63 in earnings that I accumulated since I added them to the site. Anyone have suggestions for other avenues to advertise over there?

My hair is driving me crazy. I was going through the “I want to grow it out” phase. Now, I want nothing more than to cut it all off. I’ve debated and decided that I have to hang in there until after April. I have plans to spend a week in the desert, firearm training. My hair is finally long enough to shove under a hat or pull back into a pony tail. If I cut it now, it won’t be easy to deal with in the desert. I can’t get down and dirty and compete with the big boys if I am fussin’ over my hair like a girl.

I was 5 minutes late to work today. It had everything to do with the war I wage against the alarm clock every morning.

Ms. Pam of Country Mouse, City Mouse posted about Summer Camp this morning. It made me think about the fact that I miss the summers of my youth. Summers that were full of girls camp, swimming at the local pool (yes, I haven’t always been so weird about swimming), sweating in the sun and just being a kid. Summer just isn’t as magical now that I am an adult.

I have a way of making money off of my unsuspecting husband. Never mind the fact that we both bring home a pay-check and contribute to the same bank account. There is still something about someone handing you cold hard cash and telling you “its yours…” If he asks me to complete a specific (out of the ordinary) task, I almost always reply with “How much you gonna pay me”? Sometimes he is able to cut a deal and walk away with his money. Other times though, it goes with me. This go ‘round $50 to be exact. Hey Bear, you got anything else you want me to type up for you?

I can't find my 4gb memory card for my camera. I have plenty of spares, but its driving me crazy that I can't find it. What if it has pictures on it that I didn't save to a disk already? They are tiny little buggers, I need gps on mine.

Love me some random! ;)

I'm the same way with my hair, long, short, long, short.

Hmmmm...you're not the first person that I've heard is getting that response from Google ads. I wonder what's going on with that?

Jessica G. 05 March, 2009 16:06

And I'm totally gonna start charging my husband for stuff...
Him - "What's for dinner?"
Me - "Depends on how much you wanna pay me."

Him - "Do I have any clean underwear?"
Me - "Do you have a twenty?"

What's "suspect click activity"? is what I want to know. Sheesh.

And GPS on memory cards would be genius.

I was going to ask the same thing as Shanna!! Do they think maybe you are having people just click on it?

Donna 05 March, 2009 17:09

I like doing random tidbits too, although I haven't done it in awhile. I'm always interested in whats bits of randomness are going on in other people's lives. I'm sorry the allergies are already bugging you. And I hope you find that memory card soon. That would drive me crazy too!

They disabled the SITS girls too. And a bunch of their followers.

I don't get that whole thing. Your not supposed to draw attention to it in any way or else it's considered suspect click activity.

Again, my Queen, don't those google adsense idiots know who their dealing with? Haven't they seen your flair? Are they just completely stupid?

Sending you some "finding" angels to help with the memory card! I hate it when mine goes missing!

I love your random posty!

I agree summers were a lot more fun as a kid, and even better once you got to be a teenager.

Thanks for the shout out:)

Suspect click activity! What do they think you do all day sit there and click in and out of your own site? Durrrrr!
Hopefully you will find the card soon.
I hate alarm clocks!!!!

There are not two clocks in my entire house which have the same time displayed at any given moment. I'm learning to tell time by the sun & stars, which is why I'm always running late...My dh has a thang about setting clocks at a "random" time. Grrrrr!
I totally understand what it's like to run late, and it's not a good way to start off a day.

It is great that they can continue to shrink technology but it does make it harder to keep up with. Good luck finding it.

Jo 07 March, 2009 08:37

Obviously they don't know you! Or it is just their way of getting out of paying. Sorry about the allergies, I hate them. I hate them less since they invented non drowsy allergy meds and allergy eye drops.
