A Meal Fit for This Queen

>>  Thursday, January 15, 2009

It's no secret that I am the domestic goddess of the house. I have proved it time and time again. The truth of the matter is, although I am the domestic goddess -practically Martha Stewart, Betty Crocker, Sara Lee, and The Pillsbury Doughboy all in one, I am no match for the Master Chef of the house! Tonights dinner is proof of that! EVERY Night -No exaggeration, I come home to a meal waiting for me. Why, because he loves me -thats my story and I'm stickin' to it. (Okay, so maybe he doesn't like to go hungry. Geesh).

It may not look like much, or that appetizing. We all know that looks can be deceiving! Because what you see before you is...drum roll please.....Home-made. Yes! homemade Ham Fried Rice with Eggrolls. Yes! Are you jealous? You should be. Just remember, he's mine! All mine!

Now, if you will excuse me, I've got to roll myself to the couch! I think I have eaten beyond my fill!

Yum.Yum. My sweetie usually only cooks for himself, cuz his favorite dish is tuna burrito.Yuck! He adds all kinds of awful things to it and nukes it & makes the whole house smell.I'm always grateful when he does it though as it means I don't have to cook;<) He also makes a mean Campbell's bean with bacon soup, which IS my favorite meal.

That's funny.... I made homemade fried rice last night too. I didn't do egg rolls though. I think I would have to CPR if I came home to a meal my husband cooked!! - not just from the sheer joy of it, but because I am sure I would be poisoned!!
