Tag and Other Playground Games...

I've been tagged. I have to admit (no offense to the Tagg-ee). After awhile the tags start to remind of chain letters. Only instead of getting them in your mailbox or your inbox for that matter, they spread across the internet like wild fire. Infesting your blog comment box.

Having said that, I can't help but oblige. I am excepting the tag, however -I'm going to do it my way and use my own rule book.

The tag is for 6 random facts about myself. Honestly, I don't know what I haven't already covered. Lets see, there are the now well known facts from this post:

Or This Post:

But we will soon discover, there can always be MORE-

Random Fact #1-I don't dream. Okay, so I probably do, but it is very very seldom that I remember them. I do however have night-terrors. The night-terrors are something I have dealt with for as long as I can remember. Years and years ago, out of desperation I imagine, my Fatherson took me to a therapist that gave me a tool through the power of suggestion, while using a hypno-therapy technique. She taught me to pick my favorite show and when a night-terror would begin, to "change the channel", as if I was watching Television. Over the years my go-to show has changed from Tom and Jerry to Saved by The Bell and has progressed with age appropriate shows that are typically light-hearted and easy to follow. The suggestion has faded with time, but it still works, over 20 years later. Thanks Dr....Oh what was her name? Help me out Fatherson. -Degudder (I doubt that is how you spell it, but phonetically, its dead on.) Dr. De-Gudder.

Random Fact #2-I am TERRIFIED of water. I will drink it, bath in, splash in. But don't ask me to swim in a swimming pool or get on a boat. That is a death sentence in my minds eye. And if it moves (i.e. Rivers) -No WAY! Not gonna happen. I don't know where the fear comes from, but it has always been there. Kyle has promised me a cruise to Alaska if I will take swimming lessons. Not even that has gotten me to the swimming pool. The good news is, the ideal vacation for me doesn't include beaches or large bodies of water. So my husband doesn't get nagged endlessly to take me places like that.

Random Fact #3- I can't dance, I can't sing, and aside from the flute like instruments (I think they called them Recorders) we were required to play in the 3rd or 4th grade, I can't play any sort of instrument. I would love to. I LOVE music. I LOVE all sorts of music. I surround myself with music. I just don't have it in me to create any of it on my own.

Random Fact #4-I have had a steady job since the age of 14. I began my career at the local amusement park, working the concessions (foods). I haven't had a great variety of jobs, but they have been steady. I began with the food service, and moved to receptionist, seasonal data entry for the IRS (let me tell that was loads of fun), telemarketing (which I LOATHED) and now my super top-secret, oh so fascinating current profession. I will give an award to anyone that can correctly guess what I do for a living, or can even come close. Not only will it prove that I have said to much, but that you actually read this far into the post. (Fatherson, you don't get to guess. We can't give them all my secrets)

Random Fact #5- I have many many many names. My legal name is Danielle Cherise (Enter Last Name Here). My in-laws call me Dannie (Which, I'm not sure how that happened. As a younger girl, that wasn't allowed). Through high school I was always known as Dee, by those that knew me best. And oh the names that my Fatherson calls me. The "allowed to say in public names" include:
Baby Doll or Baby
Dandi-T (or just Dandi)
Hoo-Roo (or just Hoo or just Roo)
Snuffle-Up-A-Guss (I haven't heard this in a long time...where ya been on that one Fatherson?)
Gunner

I have also been known to some as:
Boggle-Woggle
and
My loving husband calls me Woo (as do the boys, after hearing him call me that)

The rest of them are not to be repeated, they are incredibly embarrassing. And if any credible sources leak them, especially here on my blog, they will be placed in the dirtiest, foulest, unkempt nursing home in all the land -Thats you Fatherson. As for you, Kyle...I know where you sleep and I wash your underwear. Okay, so the under-wear basket it your responsibility. But, I own a sewing machine that would sew the flys up real well on those clean under-wear. Wear that one to the restroom my friend!

Random Fact #6- This one is an obvious by now, if you are still reading.... I call my dad Fatherson. Especially when I am talking directly to him. I don't know where it came from. But he is Fatherson, I'm Dandi and my mom is Mama. That's just how things are. To my boys -my parents are Nana and Papa. While I always had two grandmas, a Papa and a Grand-Dad.

There you have it. Six more mind boggling truths. Six more nauseating trips to the under-belly of this ship that I sail.

I tag everyone and anyone that wants to carry this flag. Carry on my friend, Carry On!

I have had a steady job since I was 16. Sometimes, I wish I could be a stay-at-home wife.

I'm scared of the ocean, well not really the ocean as much as what lives in the ocean.

I too have had a steady job since I was 14--I started at the public library and while the rest of my friends were working for min. wage at McD's, I was making about .50 more an hour and I didn't constantly smell like burgers. I should say steady until now, I guess. I'm a in my off-season from IRS and am loving being a housewife! But, I also love the data transcription at IRS--I can plug in my IPOD and zone out for 8 hours. It's awesome--for me anyway!
