Is That Everything? Please Pull Forward

With the boys in tow this evening, we headed to the local Dairy Queen to feed Kyles Blizzard habit. As we pulled into the drive-through we were greeted by the usual teenage voice on the other end, saying "Welcome to Dairy Queen, go ahead and order when your ready..." Without missing a beat, Seth from the back seat announced:

"I Get Fwies...
Nuggets
an... um...... Nuggets
an Choc-late..
.....Thank You"

It was the cutest thing, he knew exactly what he wanted and has this little routine all figured out. Probably not something I should be proud of (having a 2 year old that knows the ropes at the local fast food restaurant), but all too funny! AND he was polite, ending his request with a Thank You! I sure love our little boy!

I hate when my kids order nuggets or macaroni and cheese at restaurants. It feels like such a waste of money because we have a freezer full of chicken nuggets at home and a pantry full of boxed mac and cheese. But I still place the order because it stops their crying.

That's so cute! My 3-year-old does the same thing--as soon as he sees that we're going up to a drive-thru (usually McDonald's), he says "I want chicken "muggets," apple slices, and milk." We're still working on the thank you part, so good job on your well-mannered boy!
