The Shoe Store

I find the fact that my youngest son is so incredibly obsessed with shoes somewhat disturbing. He runs around pointing out other peoples shoes. And if you let him, he will stop and admire your shoes up close.

Last night we ended up in a shoe store. I imagine in my little guys mind, he was sure that he had just hit the "shoe lottery". He looked at every shoe, and touched every shoe within his reach.

As far as I can tell, this sort of thing has not been determined as unhealthy or a form of some medical disorder. And I am left to imagine that its not much different from my own obsession with purses and bags. But I can't help but find it unusual in my 2 year old. I guess that only time will tell. Maybe he is destined to be a shoe designer. He could create me great shoes to go with my extensive purse collection....Yeah, I will go with that....
