Blue and Gold Banquet: A Cake

First of all, I can't believe I have a little boy that is approaching old enough to start Boy Scouts. CUB Scouts, but Scouts nonetheless. When did he turn 7, let alone be so close to 8 that things like this are happening?

Our Mo-Tay has been invited to attend his first Blue and Gold Banquet .

As part of the event, they are having a cake decorating contest. Honestly, what kind of mother would I be if I didn't help my little Cub, and make sure he had a cake? {Despite it all being VERY late notice}

So, with a little brainstorming, some last minute running around, and a VERY helpful hubby...

Mo-Tay thinks we have practically already won first place, and has begun speculating "what the prize will be..." {I don't know if I am that confident, but it's fair to say that we have a chance}.
