My First 10

Where does the time go? I had so much to blog in conjunction with my last two posts, and while I still do {have much to say} I just don't know where to start....

So how about at the top, one thing at a time? Maybe if I get this initial nonsense out of the way I can start with a clean slate.

First up, the changes I mentioned in my health. I am doing MUCH better than I was. Truly. They still aren't completely sure what is...was....wrong with me but we may have some answers to explain good portions of it all. My favorite part of this all is I am seeing much needed improvements. My energy levels have begun to return and I feel much more in control.

My next obstacle? My weight {GASP}. No need to get uncomfortable...I have a mirror. I know where I've been. That is why I am proud to say that I am down my first 10lb's. That may not be a lot {now} but it's a good start to my next 10 and 10 more after that....While I'm not ready for any Before and After shots, my life is changing {in a big way}...1lb at a time. For the first time ever I like where I'm headed, because all of this has been brought about by an upswing in my health and my own will to succeed... no gimmicks, no pills...just me, hard work, and good eating!

good luck with the weight loss! I am in the same situation....not just overweight but obese. I'm finding it harder and harder to do the things I like to do, but haven't made the strong mental decision I know I'd need to in order to lose weight.
