The tree has been put away {I just couldn't stand the disarray any longer}. The garbage cans are over-flowing and my boys are still detoxing from all the sugar and merriment.
And me, I can't stand to take another bite of Christmas ham....
I'm pretty sure this is a case of the post-Christmas blues.
Sooooooo glad I'm not the only one that packs my tree away so fast! Hugs to you my dear....I was just thinking about you on the way back in from the city just an hour ago, wondering how you are and all that jazz.
Hubby usually wants to wait until Valentine's Day to take the tree down! But he was a bit of a scrooge this year, so we took it down today. It does feel good to have the house back in order.
I ready for all the toys and mess to be put away, but I'm not quite ready for the Christmas to be put away. Usually it would all be gone by now. This year I'm not ready to give Christmas up yet.
Our house is still decorated because we didn't actually get any of it put up until the Sunday before Christmas. (I will deny that I'm being lazy and just don't feel like taking it down.)
I'm so there. In fact, I was going to blog about post Christmas meltdown ;0). My tree is pretty much dead, so I am soooo ready to take it down. I hope you pick up soon!
I only wish I had taken my decorations down the day after Christmas. I'm waiting until Saturday when my husband can take it down and haul it all back to the basement. I'm ready for the disarray to disappear.
