The Lines

>>  Thursday, September 16, 2010

I've noticed that I have a tendency to jumble words...in a weird way sometimes, when I type {especially in emails, and occasionally on my blog}.

Those that receive my ramblings in their in-box, often, know what I'm talking about. Random words in the middles of coherent sentences, or the halves of two thoughts, strung together in a single sentence.

I find that my hands move faster than my brain sometimes. I may have one thought, followed by a second, when I decide to {mentally} edit the first thought, yet my fingers have already managed to tap out both thoughts before my brain can process the whole event and slow things down. While my proof-reading brain knew what it meant and can see only what it meant, printed on the page, despite what my fingers left behind.

I don't know why my brain and hands function {or malfunction} this way. I haven't found a cure, either. It's kind of become my signature. Part of my mystique, I suppose. One must learn to read between the lines to understand me.

Do you provide a translator?

Honestly, I don't think it's that bad! I've never needed a translator myself. Does that just mean I talk the same language as you and the people with me in their inbox need to be directed to this post? Hmmmmm. Something to think about. :)
