I enjoy, from time to time, looking back through my old posts. I almost always find one that speaks to me, and brings back a vivid memory. As I surfed through my archives, this one spoke to me.....

Being a mother is one of the hardest things I do. Everyday. I find the rewards are often hidden. I find myself searching for the good, as I lose myself. Lost. Never sure of what I am doing. Because of this, when my boys and I are able to share some of the sweeter moments, they truly are sweet!
Recently, I awoke to Mo-tay. Who had climbed into bed with Kyle and I. The sun was shining through the bay window of my room, and he was sweet. He curled up next to me (which in itself is unusual) and we talked. We talked about all sorts of things, most of it fairly irrelevant, yet priceless. Near the end of our conversation I asked for a hug. My request met with: “I’m all out”
“All out?” I said. “Do you want some of mine?”
His reply? “Yes! 26! I want 26 hugs”
Done deal. 26 hugs I gave. For him. I’ve got plenty to spare.... for him!
