"Librarians should know how to spell."
-Beverly Cleary (Ramona's World)
It's been so long, but I know I read every Beverly Cleary book I could get my hands on. From start to finish, over and over again. {Those and my Judy Blume Books}.
As an only child, I use to see myself as Ramona and wished for a little sister {even if she was as precocious as Ramona}.
Oh the memories.
Which is exactly why my boys and I are reading Henry Huggins together. They may not be able to appreciate Ramona, but they are all about Henry.
What brings back good memories from your childhood?

I know! they bring back so many memories.
My girlfriends and I are all reading the series with our daughters (ages 3-8) and we have a "girlie" day planed for the end of this month.. we are getting out nails done, going to lunch and then out to see Beezus and Ramona! I love being able to share these books with out girls!
We just went and purchased Ramona books the other day! I can't wait to read them with Cat!
Henry!!! Oh my goodness! I loved him too!
Cute! I loved Ramona books too!
I loved those books too, and Henry Huggins for sure! I loved all of Roald Dahl's books and I read the Nancy Drew mysteries over and over.
I loved these as well! I am an only child too!
