"Librarians should know how to spell."
                           -Beverly Cleary (Ramona's World)

I'm not going to lie, when I see the previews for the new Ramona and Beezus movie, I want to not only run out and secure me a ticket at the movie theater, but read the books from my childhood -all over again.

It's been so long, but I know I read every Beverly Cleary book I could get my hands on. From start to finish, over and over again. {Those and my Judy Blume Books}.

As an only child, I use to see myself as Ramona and wished for a little sister {even if she was as precocious as Ramona}.

Oh the memories.

Which is exactly why my boys and I are reading Henry Huggins together. They may not be able to appreciate Ramona, but they are all about Henry.

What brings back good memories from your childhood?

I loved those books too, and Henry Huggins for sure! I loved all of Roald Dahl's books and I read the Nancy Drew mysteries over and over.
