The holiday has been a GREAT one. Truly. I am however, glad all the anticipation and work up to the big day is over, over, over. Gone! This was a stressful one. Now, I just wish the day itself hadn't disappeared as quickly as it did. *sigh* Now bring on the new year!
****************
Prior to the holidays....We took our boys for a ride on the "Polar Express". Before you tell me how cool of a mother I am, I might, or might not have fibbed and told my kids that the areas commuter rail train was the Polar Express, because I wasn't willing to pony up $40 a kid for a 30 minute ride on the local rail road.

I know some of you have been waiting...on pins and needles..for this next tidbit. I finally have a start date on my new job. January 4th. I'm so excited (again), I can barely contain myself. I've got a lot of work ahead of me, but I couldn't be more grateful. I think it the perfect way to start the new year!

This week is going to be significant for me....for many reasons. I'm anxious. I'm ready. Bring on the New Year.

Best Wishes for the start date with your new job!! The Polar Express sounds fun, what a treat for your children.
Good luck!
Happy New Year!
I have been wanting to tkae my kids on the commuter rail for a LONG time. But I am a bad mom because I haven't.
We need to do lunch one day here in Ogden in the next couple weeks.
Good luck with the new job! My boys love going on the commuter train. I don't blame you for doing that instead of paying that much.
Good luck with the new job! I think you'll do great, and it really is a great way to start the new year!
Woowoo! If the kiddos thought it was the Polar Express, it was!
Best wishes at your new job. It IS a great way to start the new year and having time off with your children and sweetie was a good way to end the old one.
We're heading "down South" this week. I'll miss the cold, but will be good to see some old friends.

I am so glad your new job is going to start soon. A new chapter begins for you!
And I love how you told your kids they were on Polar Express. They certainly wouldn't know the difference, and they had just as much fun.
We're heading "down South" this week. I'll miss the cold, but will be good to see some old friends.
