Operation: Be Prepared (Week 12)

>>  Tuesday, September 15, 2009

This Weeks List:
Pet litter and Box
Extra Water
Pet First Aid Kit

Things To Do:
Make sure that all pet vaccinations are current and obtain medical records.
Keep Emergency supply of any special pet medications or supplies
Photocopy all important documents and store them safely.

Tidbits:
For some, I think our pets could be an oversight. Their demand on our resources is typically much less than any other member of the household, but no less important if we want to keep them save as well.

Excellent points, H.E. This is so important, it's heartbreaking to see the pets left behind in an emergency. Also, I make sure the dog's leashes are handy, w/an extra leash in case of lost pets. Old blankets and towels are helpful and count on about a gallon of water per day per pet depending on their size. Hmm, I have to get more petfood for a backup. Thanks, my best for a great day!
