Excuse Me, I Believe You Have My Stapler

I get overly excited about office supplies. I do. It’s true. I come by it naturally, it must be in my DNA. They don’t teach you about the ‘office supply’ gene in human biology class.
My love for office supplies is quirky. I get it. Call me what you will, but the lined post-its are mine and that pink stapler…Don’t even think about it! Sending me into an office supply store (I prefer Office Depot by the way) is like sending a kid into a toy store. A chubby kid into a bakery. The sweet tooth into the candy story. You get the idea.
Needless to say I was UBER excited when I found a new stapler. The Doer of All things GREAT (aka the gal that does the buying at work) could see the excitement in my eyes and insisted that I get it. I was in need of a new stapler anyways (they seem to grow legs and disappear).
I have a feeling this one won’t being going anywhere..considering the majority of the population at work is of the male gender.
Ain’t she a beauty! Stands up nice and tall, even has an indicator on her back that will let me know when she’s runnin’ low on staples! A gen-U-INE Swingline too!

I am an Office Supply Junkie too. I have lots of quirks, I sit on a fitness ball for my computer/office seating.
I just found a "Paper Mouse Pad", I'm so thrilled. Ah, the little things.

We have a Staples in C.C. No Office Depot, no Office Max. When you live where I live, beggars can't be choosers I suppose.

Office supplies make my heart go pitter-pat. In fact, just this morning my husband gave me a cute little container of paper clips. (I wonder if he's trying to butter me up?)

Adam ordered himself a fancy red stapler because his kept disappearing. He swears he is taking it when he starts his new job!
LOVE the stapler!! I am like that with (not haters please) Scrapbook Supplies. I could buy and buy and buy them.
I swoon when I go into an office supply store. I look forward to ordering supplies. It's like Christmas for me.
I also have a pen fetish. I have more pens than I know what to do with! But still... when a new model or design comes out... I want it. I gotta have it!!

My sister drools over office supplies too! You make me giggle! I am just quirky so I can't nail down one thing!
But the real question is, what would it look like set in a big bowl of green jello?
If I could even find my stapler, I'm pretty sure that there wouldn't be any staples in it, because my kids like to staple.
And in case you're wondering, I just love finding a paper plate with 87 staples all around the edge.
That looks like an awesome stapler! Almost as good as the pink gun. I like office supplies too.
LOL I get the same way once a year when it is time for a new calender! It can take hours and cost a small fortune cause I must buy the pretty stuff (pens, post its, rulers) to go with it!

I'm the same way with mechanical pencils.
There's this one that I've had for a few semesters that I fawn over.
It's perfectly comfortable, and it's the perfect size.
I carry about a bunch of cheapos so that NO ONE can borrow my good pencil.
But that stapler... that stapler calls to me.
Vacuums and mops. I love them. I have a million of them. Yep, quirky.
I'm still looking for the beauty in that stapler. ??? I think it's wasted on me, GF. LOL
I have a think for little tables, the kind you position all around your house to collect dust. Do I need them? No. Do I like to dust? No. Do my guest oh & ah over them and want to take them away from me? Never! It's sad.
Yup, that's a keeper! No red-blooded USMale would want to steal that baby!
Pens. I love a good pen. I always send them in Mamarazzi's Favorite Things swap because you can never have too many pens. (especially if you have small children who like to draw...then your prized pens seems to walk away.)
Every Christmas my sister and I got a very special package. Due to my fathers work we got a box, a Big box from Zellerback paper company. The box always contained all sorts of great treasures. Rulers and colored paper. Crepe paper and a hole punch. Every years it was packed with all types of joy and happiness. As she looked on with a gleam in her eye-"Marion The Librarian" understood- Annonomous---

I get it completely. :D I love back to school time because I can buy 50 boxes of crayons for .20 a box. The good crayolas not the crappy roseart ones. I was a drummer in high school and college and used to tape my sticks pink so they'd not get stolen...
I feel the same way about cleaning supplies. I do think your new stapler is very nice though!
I love office supplies too - I don't know what it is about them... that looks like a great stapler!!
I'm a freak about office supplies! The quirkier, the better! That stapler is fab!
