A Day in The Life of......

>>  Thursday, June 25, 2009

Me. Yours truly. I recently sought inspiration from you, my faithful readers. One of the inspirations received was ‘A Day in The Life of…

Then I came to the realization that I wouldn’t want to bore all of you. Because my day typically goes something like this:

4:50 am: Alarm Goes off
5:45 am: The snooze button disengages and I am forced to crawl out of bed
5:45-6:47 am: I run around the house, throwing myself together…
6:47-6:54 am: I drive like a bat out of H-E-Double Hockey Sticks, because I’m once again in a race against the clock
Somewhere between 7:00-8:00 am: I engage brain, start my work, take a break….look busy.
8:00 am-5:06 pm: Repeat 07:00-8:00 am –repeatedly.
5:06-8:45 pm: Drive home, wrestle monkeys, try to keep sanity intact, feed monkeys, bathe monkeys, coax monkeys into slumbering.
8:45-10:00 pm: Tuck in the last of the un-willing monkeys, with just enough time to crash and burn.

Lather, Rinse, Repeat. It all starts over…..4:50 am

4:50? Seriously?! Wow. You must be Wonder Woman.

I love the "look busy" part. :)

That sounds about right. Minus the kids and plus a headache.

How can you function that early?!
I used to have to get up at 6 for school, and I thought I would die!

I can't remember the last time I got up at 4 something. I have gotten up in the 5's but that is almost pushing it. :) love the photo too by the way.

Holy Heck lady! That is not enough sleep for me. I would need to be shot. You are my hero.

4:50 is early isn't it? We do that here four days a week. But then hubby leaves for work and I can go back to bed if I want to.
