A BIG Door, with a Window...

>>  Saturday, May 9, 2009

My Mo-tay has a new fascination...with drawing. Some of which includes ME drawing things for him -by request. Which I don't mind, not at all. However he seems to have the same request -repeatedly.

A BIG door....
With a BIG HANDLE...
And a WINDOW

I have no idea how many doors I have drawn in the last few weeks, but it has been many. And let me tell ya..they are BIG!

That's interesting. Wouldn't it be cool to get a glimpse into his little brain to see what he sees and why?

You picked a good door picture to post. I know it's simple, but I like it.

Very cool mom that you draw for him, and draw the same thing over and over.

I wonder why he's so fascinated with doors now?

Hmm, very thought provoking and probably reflective of some childhood developmental stage about mastery of his environment and all that stuff from a college pysch class a zillion years ago.
Great picture, you are Super Nice Mommy!! My boys made me draw pics of Trains and Dinosaurs of which I now excel. Happy Mother's Day to you and yours.

Are there prizes behind the doors like in Let's Make a Deal? Remember that show?
This is very interesting!

Someday when you're a famous artist you'll thank him for this training!

this hits close to home. my kids always want me to draw things for them and i am definitely not artistic.

my son gets especially frustrated because sometimes i can't draw exactly what he is picturing in that little head of his.

happy drawing!

Interesting. Why the doors? What is he trying to say? Hmmm ...

he he. My grandson used to draw robots(transformers)all the time. I still find some of his drawings amongst my papers and it really tickles me. Do yourself a favor and tuck a few of your doors into some books. A cookbook book marker will make you smile(at the memory) every time you open it.I'd probably encourage the little guy to draw his own doors too. ;<)

doors huh? that very different!

It's funny how kids get fixated on the most random things! My son does that too!

Horses. I've drawn countless horses. Now, I'm pretty good at it...but I also make her draw some of her own so mine won't be lonely.

I love it when kids express themselves through art! I wonder why he wants them big? Maybe he has some BIG plans!

I remember drawing stuff for my kids, and now the Pea asks too. But never a door. Interesting, I wonder why?
