Seeing Stars and Kaleidoscopes

There is a quaint restaurant not too far from our house, where we like to enjoy breakfast every now and then!

They have a treasure chest that our kids are allowed to pick a 'treasure' from if they are well behaved during the course of our meal. In other words, occasionally my kids make it out of there with a new treasure.

This was one of those rare occasions. It fascinates me to see what they are drawn to (I try and not be persuasive..unless they are reaching for the candy over the toys. I much prefer them to have the toys...Crazy, I know!)

All I can think about when I see this pictures is The Beatles song: Baby you can drive my car, Yes I'm gonna be a star......and maybe I'll love you!

This child of mine is destined to do great things! I can see it in the way he looks at things, analyzes everything and just seems to get it!

What I'm Doing Here...

I blog for so many reasons. This started as your typical 'Mommy Blog' but quickly evolved into so much more. I blog to stay sane, document our days and to express myself.
