Mr. I.N.D.E.P.E.N.D.E.N.T.

Part of being the independent 3 year old that my Mo-tay is, we try and allow him to do as much as possible on his own. One of the things that is expected of him is to get himself dressed, when time allows. I recently instructed Mason to "Get Dressed" and then "get your shoes and socks, so we can put them on". As you can see, he felt that he was dressed appropriately, and decided that he was capable of putting on his own shoes.

*If you look closely, those are his winter boots. Yes, on the wrong feet...over his footed pajamas.*

That's my boy!

I love that budding independent streak starts to bubble to the top. Not always appropriate, but still, he did it! And you get a good laugh and picture to show his girlfriends later!

He looks so cute and proud in his funny outfit. We've been trying to get our three-year-old to dress/undress himself more often. It's not going so well!

Too cute! Boys are funny that way. Just like "little men"!
