A Letter To My Boys
Titled: The Embarrassment

To My Boys-
Dear Sweet Tow May and Doo Noo's, Do either of you remember the 10,000th time you threw a temper trantrum in a public place? How about the 500th time you arched your back trying to get away from either your Dawi or Me? Do you remember the 100th time you ran from me in a store so large that I panicked when I couldn't see you over the clothes rack? My heart racing as I called your name, hoping that I would find you before a stranger found you, the whole world now knowing your name as I called for you.

Doo Noo's do you remember Breakfast this morning at that cute little restaurant we chose to eat at for the first time? You don't? But do you remember throwing yourself on the floor under the table? Do either of you remember playing with the light switch over our table, turning the light up and then down, until I thought I was going to cry? Did you see me finally break down and shed a tear over my hashbrowns? Could you feel the embarrassment that crept across my face as you shrieked at the top of your lungs?

I'm surprised that I am the only one that remembers these things so vividly. To ensure that you don't go without some equally cherishable memories to take with you into your adulthood. Today, I vow that I will take time during those crucial years ahead to say embarrassing things in front of your friends and possibly even your girlfriends. I will never pass up a moment to dress awkwardly as we take a trip to the grocery store, nor will I turn my back on your need for affection, regardless of where we are and the fact that me mugging on you, may just cause you to blush.

Always and Forever,
Your Mommee

Great job on the motherly retaliation.

And don't be surprised if I turn on MIKA and dance around the table while you are eating breakfast and force you to watch my cool moves. I deserve this moment.....

I SO look forward to the time with Karma comes around to greet my children. In the form of me.

BTW. I LOVE that picture of your son with crown upside down and the caption? Cracking me up.
