A Milestone

We have all had those moments in life, that define who we are and what we stand for. For many, some of those moments have been more pleasant than others. I experienced one of those moments today, as I received the Life Saving Award. This experience has been a once in a lifetime achievement for me, as it is one of the highest forms of recognition given. I am typically not one for show, and don't like to be gawked at for my accomplishments. But I must admit that I feel a sense of accomplishment, and pride in who I am today.
