Head, Shoulder, Knees and.....Elbows?
>> Saturday, January 9, 2010
Earlier today, my youngest brought me one of these {from a laundry basket}:
My reply, "Yes Son, put it back where you found it" {trying to avoid any more questions or worse, explanations}
Not satisfied with my answer he inquired further:
"Are these for your elbows?"
{hesitations from me}
"Yes Son, for my elbows"
{him...pointing at my chest}
"These elbows, Mommee?"
{me, shooing him away}
"Yes, Son....those elbows"

I;m surprised it took him this long!
Too funny!
LOL, well if he ever shouts out something about elbows in public, you'll never have to be embarrassed! :)
elbows huh? Hmmmm...
Hahahaha, at least he calls them elbows.
It could be a lot worse. If he starts talking about your elbows, no one will know the difference!
That story will follow him for life and may be worth money to you. You can always threaten to tell a girlfriend of his. . .I'm thinkin' someday he will PAY you to forget it.
oh i looooove it.. JUST LOVE IT!!!
that is hilarious! ah, the things kids say-so great.
Perfect! And you are safe from one of "those" blurts outs in church!
Just beware the first time he tells you he touched a girls elbows at school, but he really means elbows and not those. :) Haha.
I'm so glad you are blogging all this, as when the little guys grow up you can show them what they said and how it made so many of us chuckle!! Too funny!

Ha ha! My son is starting to become aware of those "elbows" too.
BTW, I'm planning on e-mailing you sometime soon (maybe not until next week) with that Word file for you to convert to a jpeg. Thank you so much for offering your help. You are seriously smart and so kind!
Definitely a cute story. Perhaps a good one to scrapbook?
