I Survived!

I taught the Relief Society lesson today.

People, I am here to tell you...I'M.EXHAUSTED. For Reals. Emotionally, physically and mentally.

Hats off to those of you that teach groups like this on a regular basis. This is something I had to learn to do, and doesn't come naturally. Which is ironic, considering the fact that the topic was "Developing Our Talents".

But, I do got talent. Yes, I do. My heart was beating so fast, I thought for sure I was going to be rendered unconscious. But I not only stayed conscious, but somewhat coherent....and that, my friend, takes some talent.

I deserve a shirt that reads: 'I Taught R.S. and Survived It'

On second thought, maybe I should have handed t-shirts out to those I was teaching, as they were the ones that had to survive it.

Whichever.

Now, if you will excuse me, I'm going to go rest. I've had all the excitement I can handle.....

Way to go girl. Doesn't it feel amazing? The first time I taught RS I thought I'd die but it actually turns out that the thing I always swore I hated and couldn't do was something I LOVED doing! I've taught a few times since and then got the gig in YW so I get to teach a whole awful lot since there's only 2 of us in YW in our little branch.

If you make one of those tshirts send one may way, I think we should wear them proud!

That is one of my most feared things to do at church. I am so scared of teaching adults! Good job getting through it, I bet you did well!
