An Eagles View: Desperately seeking...Me!

On occasion, I enjoy sifting through old blog posts. I enjoy reminiscing as I read the stories I shared and look at the pictures {especially those of my ever-growing boys}.

As I rummaged through old posts recently, there was something undeniable about my posts -as of late, versus my posts when I started this blog of mine.

I am missing from most of my recent posts. Not me in the physical sense, because, well, um...I technically typed them and posted them. I'm referring to ME, who I am inside....that quirky blonde that those closest to me claim to love.

Some of my absence has been due to nothing other than a stacked schedule. Life comes at me fast these days, and there is little I can do about it. The rest of it however, is tied to all the change in my life. Change that although I welcome, I refuse to allow it to replace me.

So, if you will excuse me, I have some packing to do...for a long over-due journey....to find myself.

Oh, yeah, and one more thing..I beg your pardon, while I am away. One can only hope that I will return quickly...with all my quirkiness intact.

What I'm Doing Here...

I blog for so many reasons. This started as your typical 'Mommy Blog' but quickly evolved into so much more. I blog to stay sane, document our days and to express myself.

I like to claim this as my little corner of the blogosphere. A safe place for me to share my story, my boys and their crazy antics, our adventures as a family and the odd occurrences of our household.

I'm grateful for all of you that support my ramblings -on a daily basis- and welcome those of you visiting for the first time. Its my hope that you come and sit a while; that we may have a chance to get to know each other.

Last year, it was my husband's cancer, this year, it is the financial fall-out from it that keeps me working more hours to pay the bills. The energy is zapped. I hope when you come back, you will share what you've discovered about you.
