I have finally done it.
I couldn't ignore the pain in my feet any longer.
I bought me a pair of shoes, because they were...dare I say..healthy for my feet, rather than cute or fashionable.
I made the salesman quit calling them orthopedic, for fear I might lose my mind. I know I'm getting up there in years, but I don't want to admit it. At least, not by claiming to wear orthopedic shoes.
It really is all about form and function over style.

It's true "when your feet hurt you hurt all over". The shoes are not awful, they're not funky but as long as you don't wear support hose with them you'll be fine! Did I make you smile?
Girl, rock wearing those shoes like nothing else! I'd hate giving up my cute shoes and I'm not a shoe addict. I can imagine how insane it must have made you hearing the "O" word a bazillion times.

I've never worn high heels....always low, comfy shoes. And I have fantatic looking feet.
My feet still look good, but they do hurt from time to time. I can't give up my heels just yet.
I hear ya on the shoe thing. I went out with friends a few weeks ago, and had these awesome heels on, and right before I left the house, I changed into a pair of "sensible" shoes. I've officially become my mother.
I have finally realized sometimes we have to put function before fashion! (but truly those are not bad..kind of cute!)
I - quite literally - feel your pain...I bought super cute new shoes for a recent trip, only to have them make my toe BLEED the first time I wore them. Much suckage ensued.
