A Month of Thanksgiving

This is the Challenge...For the month of November, in your status [Facebook], put something different that you are Thankful for each day.

When I saw this event on Facebook {being hosted by the lovely Just So}, I knew she was on to something. Then when she had the insight to bring it to her blog, I was in {total} agreeance with her 'self '. Because really, it's not until you count your blessings that you realize how blessed you truly are.

Today, I am thankful for my job {despite it being Monday}. As hard as it is, to wake up to that alarm every day. I know that I'm helping to sustain this little family of mine.


I really couldn't ask for a better job. I have a wonderful boss, that is family oriented and more than understanding when the tasks of being a mother and wife take precedence over anything else on the agenda.

I sit in my climate controlled office {day after day}, staying busy, knowing that my check will arrive without question. My family will not go without. There will be no worries about which bill to pay or where the money will come from.

I also know that what I choose to do every morning is helping to provide my family with the safety and security {often taken for granted} we are blessed with. Especially knowing there are so many who are struggling to make ends meet, can't find a job, or go without.
