I'm Still Alive and Other Random Stuff

>>  Thursday, October 28, 2010

For the record, I'm still alive. I didn't drown, although, at times {this week}, I wished I had. {My household is being plagued with a never ending cold virus}. Unfortunately, I am not one that can work my way through a cold. They knock me flat, effecting my entire being.

It never fails, one can sit all day, waiting for the phone to ring or a knock at the door, and nothing will come. You get up, leave the room or find yourself unable to answer the phone or door, and wouldn't ya know it...both will be demanding your attention. Although, I can't complain too loudly, as one of the knocks at my door {this week}was a package from my True Colors Swap partner. That right there, is something to be excited about. I will have a post sharing my goodies, in the next few days.

Halloween is just a few days away, and I think I am halloween'd out. Seriously. Between the school parties, the church trunk or treats and everything else that has gone on, I've already got a truck load of candy. We usually spend time with family on halloween, I think I might consider staying home this year and 're-gifting' the candy filling up my house. There is definitely enough for everyone, plus some.

I know I've been MIA, thanks for not giving up on me. I've got a few more days {at least} before things will resume to 'business as usual', but I am getting there!

It's so true that it all happens at once and it's overwhelming! But give up on you? Never!

This is where we need to live closer because we could ignore the trick-or-treaters at the door and drown together in all the loot you collected.

Sorry to hear you've been feeling bad. Maybe some Halloween candy will get you feeling better.
