Friday Fragments: It's been a long week
>> Friday, August 6, 2010
I'm playing along with Friday Fragments {#106}, hosted by Half-Past Kissin' Time. Please stand by for some fragmented thoughts, because it's been a long week.

It's hot, hot, hot in these here parts. I know it's not the popular opinion, but I am ready, ready, ready, for fall to make an appearance.
**************
I spent 8 hours today, in a Business Grammar and Proofreading course. To say my brain is fried, would be an understatement. I learned quite a bit {not that you can tell}, but I'm sure going to try.
**************
The family SUV decided it needed a little getaway, in the form of some personal TLC. A day at the spa {if you will}. Too bad its idea of spa is equivalent to the mechanic.
I'm going to need a spa getaway of my own {if I can afford it, Sheesh.}
**************
I loathe having car troubles. I don't handle them well. I will stare you down if you get froggy and I pack my own heat, but a broken down car will shut me down.
**************
There are so many more thoughts floating around this mushy brain of mine, but I can't seem to pull them together, not even for this fragmented post. I sure am glad this week has come to an end. Tomorrow is a new day, and I plan to seize it.

I am ready for fall. But not winter! If we could get 4 months of fall, I will be happy.
I've taken some of those classes before. They put ya right to sleep. LOL
Hope the "car spa" isn't too expensive! No fun!
Have a good weekend!!
My car just went through a very lengthy spa treatment so I know what you mean. Couldn't I have spent that $500 on a weekend getaway for MOI?
Hope your car feels better soon!
we are having car issues at the moment so I totally get it!
Thanks so much for stopping by and following! I'm following you back. Looking forward to having you come tag along at my blog hop this Tuesday! :)

I am SO READY for fall.
Car issues....grrrr....so expensive!
I love grammar and proofreading (good thing I'm a teacher, huh?) but I think I'm a little rusty, as I sometimes can't remember where commas may/may not go. Oh well...
Some fragmenters like to keep a little notebook in their purses, to write thoughts down as they come. That said, there is NO PRESSURE to fragment a certain way--It's all about EASY :)
I hate car problems too. Hope everything's working again. And yay for grammar and proofreading!
