I now know why they call it the Caribbean of the Rockies.
Known to many as Bear Lake. Oh the beauty.
It was cold, but this is as close as we can get {sometimes} to playing on the beach. And we are okay with that.

I've only been up there once. We need to go back.
I've actually never been there. I'm guessing I won't have the chance now.
That looks completely beautiful out there!!!
I don't recommend visiting any earlier than August (unless you enjoy frigid water temperatures).
That first picture is SO gorgeous!
Beautiful, Danielle!
Hard to imagine that it's still cold anywhere in the US. 98 here today.
absolutely stunning... though i do love me a beach too!!!!
hubs grew up in the middle of the US... and had never been to the beach before he met me... (to this day THAT blows my mind!!)... so now, hubs is a total beachaholic to the core... which is just gravy!!!
Growing up in Logan, I've been to Bear Lake many times. You're right - it is beautiful (and freezing)! have you ever stopped at that little place and gotten a raspberry shake? To DIE for!
I think a beautiful lake is just as great, if not better than the ocean! Gorgeous photos. I could be a fish I love water SOoo much. x-c
ps-An old favorite song of mine(from when I used to SCUBA dive) is Cool Change by Little River Band. A great water song!!
Gorgeous nature! Thank you for sharing the photos!

I've been to Bear Lake twice. Both times, I got sick on the road through the canyon and the wind was blowing so hard, it make breathing difficult. But I did find lots of cool little shells!
