The Number You have Dialed
>> Monday, June 28, 2010
We have decided to join the masses, and are ditching the house phone -communicating solely from our cellular phones. I still have reservations about it (the 9-1-1 Dispatcher in me, will never die), but the $40 we are spending a month is such a waste, when my cell phone is on and within arms reach at all times.
It will be a few more days (if not a full week) before our services are fully disconnected. If you call and get the above message, hopefully you know my cell phone number.....
Do you have both a house phone and cell phone? Do you communicate by only a cell phone...no house phone?

We've only had cell phones, for ehte last 5 years. And of course, the handful of times when one of our cell phones die, or something else happens, I wish we had a landline. I think about getting one, every few months.
I have a landline and a cell phone. When I move, it will be just a cell phone from now on, but the reception with my new carrier is horrendous here, so until I move I want to keep my always crystal clear home phone!
i live in a terrible area.. where i have hardly ANY cell service.. so yep! we have both.. and until i ever move somewhere better.. we'll continue to have both!!!
Just a cell phone for the past 8 years or so. I don't miss the house phone at all.
We only have cell phones, and have for nearly two years. I have been concerned a couple of times, if my boys have to call 911, do they know that they have to push "send" on my cell phone? I need to review that with them again and again, so that I feel better.
We have a house phone and cell phones. I keep threatening to cut off our house phone. Seems like the only calls we get on our house phone are sales calls. And I can do without those! Everyone that knows us calls our cell numbers.
