Operation: Be Prepared (Week 15)

>>  Sunday, November 1, 2009

This Weeks List:
Pliers
Screwdrivers
Hammer
Strapping and Fasteners for waters heater, bookcases and computers

Things To Do:
Secure water heater, bookcases, computers and other heavy items that could fall over in an earthquake.

Tidbits:
I have discovered a great place to put the toothbrushes, floss and toothpaste given to me at my dental check-ups, is with our survival supplies. This also works well for freebies received at health fairs or other like places. So far, I have stock-piled eye-glass repair kits, pads of paper and pens as well as mini first aid kits and travel sized sunscreen.

Great series you are running here - it's always good to be prepared! For us here in Florida it's hurricanes we have to prepare for. While some things may be different the survival kits would be the same. Great tips! Just a thought for the future, this series might be a good one to repost at TMS at some point.

No earthquakes here, thank goodness! What a great use for the samples!
