Cleaning out the Old Lint Trap

>>  Sunday, November 8, 2009

The lint trap, being this brain of mine. It's been a long week. For that matter, it's been a long two weeks. I've got a lot rolling around in that trap. There is no rhyme or reason to the madness, so I'm just going to throw it all out there......

I'm currently working towards a new job. It's nothing like what I do know, although it's still in the same genre -for lack of better words. I've got my hopes set pretty high. If, for some reason, I don't get this new job, I am going to be pretty heartbroken.

******

My weekends are NEVER long enough. NEVER, EVER! Even on the weeks that they are 3 days long. Why is that? I woke up this morning and the first thing I said to My Better Half was, "I don't wanna".

******

I have high aspirations to get my body back in shape. I just can't seem to find the time or the energy. Anyone have some spare? I sure would appreciate it!

******

I know that the numbers are meaningless. I always try to keep my mind off the numbers, but I couldn't help but notice, I lost a follower and comments just aren't what they used to be. *sigh*.

Okay, I'm done feeling sorry for myself.

******

I'm thinking about hosting a bloggy lunch. Would anyone be interested?

******

I have acquired THE BEST wing sauce, recipe. D.E.L.I.S.H.

In preparation for making said recipe, I purchased a bag of frozen wings -Peco Farms brand, to be exact from Walmart. Needless to say, the wings didn't happen, not this weekend. Because, I threw them down to season them and realized several of my wings still have their feathers. GROSS!

Nothing personal against the good southern folk of Peco Farms, but your brand will forever be banned from my kitchen. Sorry.

*I will share the wing recipe in the days to follow!

******

That is all...for now! I may update later, as I feel a need!

Doesn't it suck that Veteran's Day is a roving holiday? Gotta love a day off in the middle of the week.

I hate to see feathers on chicken wings. It's so disgusting!

Unless you're having a bloggy meet-up in the middle of the country, I'm not gonna make it. :(

I saw a forum discussion this last week about how comments are way down since Halloween. I swear everybody lost a follower this week. Don't you kinda wish you knew who they were when they unfollow? I mean it's probably good that we don't, but yet there's such a need to know.

Feathers - GROSS!!!!

I also lost a follower this week, but I can't really complain since I took like 6 months off and now barely blog. Maybe it was someone we had in common and they just decieded to leave the blogosphere.

Best of luck with getting that new job! I will keep my fingers crossed.

The... wings had feathers on them? That's nasty.

Ugh re.wings on feathers, I've got chills from that, tres gross.
Best Wishes re.the career changes, you will be GREAT!!!
Sorry about the blogging comments and stuff, maybe it's cyclic and folks have so many demands on their time with Facebook, twitter, their jobs, families, etc, and now the holidays, something's gotta give.
I can barely FB because of this reason. I am trying to focus on quality of blogger interaction instead of quantity.
Nice lint trap cleanout.
Did you know lint makes great kindling to help start a flame?

Oooh! Hope you get the job you're hoping for!

Ewwww! I would ban the brand of wings with feather still on them, too. Looking forward to your wing recipe - sans feathers! ;)

I've notice a dramatic decrease in comments, too. Must be 'that time of year' or something.

I need to get my butt back into the gym. I need energy and motivation. Stat!

Martha 10 November, 2009 17:08

Oh don't you just hate it when a follower just disappears? It always really bothers me too. It's not about the numbers, it's about wondering who it was and why they left, if I did something thing to offend them them or if I just became a bore! It's definitely a little sad no matter what.

We'll keep working on our health and fitness motivation over at TMS - it's something we all need I'm sure! :-)

You've got a lot of thoughts going on in your head right now. I wish I was on the computer more often so I could stay caught up with what is going on in your life :( I miss you!

Wow, your blog looks totally different since I last came to visit! It's so cute and very unique!
I always find these random thoughts interesting, and similar to my own. I hope that job works out for you!
