I Don't See The Problem...

Many are not aware, there is a 5th member of my serene home. The 5th member, is a little more agile, a little more independent and doesn't really look like the rest of us..but we love her anyways. Meet Jersey Girl
Miss Priss, herself has been the topic of many conversations lately. Why? Well, let me tell you (because I know you are dying to know why..) I innocently said "Hey Jers" (Yes, I talk TO the cat. No I don't actually expect her to reply) "Want me to buy you a sweater?"
Kyle heard this one sided conversation and came un-glued (okay, so really he was rather calm, but VERY insistent). Kyle insists..NO SWEATERS and has taught the boys to say "Cat's don't wear clothes, just people". Thanks, dear!

I see nothing wrong with a cat wearing a sweater.
Ha! Well if it's an orange sweater I think it would look awesome!
You must check out my friend/coworker's blog:

She always posts pictures of animals in clothes. In fact, I bought her dog a sog Snuggie. It came in the mail yesterday!
Guess I have to go against the crowd and say your Hubby is right....no sweaters on the cat.
I also vote not to clothes on pets, especially cats.
You gotta do it! For the blog! ;)
You have to do it!
I'm buying Tiffany a chicken hat for Halloween.
Clothes on animals is HILARIOUS!
I don't like animals (gasp!) so I'm certainly not a clothing-on-animals type person. But it's your Jersey Girl. We'll see who wins this one - you or your hubby! :)
Hmmm. I like dogs in clothes, unless they're big dogs. I never really thought about cats, though.
I say, more power to you and Jersey Girl!
There is nothing wrong with dressing animals up.
We have a shirt for Kita (If you read my blog you know who Kita is) that says "Heiress". If I could sew, I would totally make her a sweater AND a scarf.
She hates it. But we love it. *Evil laugh*
Also, check our my FB - I put a sorccerrer hat on her the other day. She wasn't happy.
We dress her up in Build a bear clothes all the time. I will post some pictures on my blog this week, just for you.
I want to get a sweater and a rain coat for our dog. My hub thinks the sound of the rain coat would freak him out and he'd pee himself.
Jeff is like Kyle, he thinks it is ridiculous to dress animals up. But he reluctantly agreed to let me buy the dog a fleece shirt but it cannot have a hood or have any flamboyant print. He said a biker jacket or other leather coat would be okay but I am too cheap to spend that much on dog clothes.
well you know my answer right off the bat: I'm all about kitty's wearin sweaters. lol.
I say go for it! My Oma hand knit 2 sweaters (with legs) for my dog, who also had a polar fleece vest. She only really wore those clothes when it was snowing out (she was a maltese and the clothes not only helped to keep her warm, but also help keep her fur from matting and helped me see her in the snow!).
I'm not an animal person but I say if it's yours you can do as you please. (If I *did* own one I probably wouldn't dress it. However if my kids asked, I'd probably give in.) Hows that for wishywashy. :)
