2 Cans Fruite*
2 Cans Vegetables*
4 Rolls of Toilet Paper*
Extra Toothbrush*
Travel-Sized Toothpaste

*Per Person
Things To Do:
Identify an escape route from your home..for all family members
Identify safe places to go in case of fire, flood, earthquake, or other disaster.
Tidbits:
Because I try to be safety and cautious, we keep the fence surrounding the back of our home locked. I realized while working on this weeks tasks that we lock the fence from the outside. If one or more of us were forced to evacuate our home through the back, we would then be trapped in the backyard..surrounded by a 6ft vinyl fence. A situation that could be deadly in certain circumstances, as our backyard -in some areas, would not allow for proper evacuation distances in cases of fire....Something to think about when preparing your escape routes.
9 Pepsi Points :
hey im good... we already have all those things on the list!
So, are you working on that fence situation? That sounds scary!
I am so glad you post this stuff... it keeps me motivated!
You bring up an excellent point about evacuating. Thank you.
It's definitely important to help our kids understand the importance of getting out quickly, and where to meet in case of emergency. Thanks for reminding me of that!
Because of you, my sweet friend, we practiced a fire / emergency escape plan last week! Thank you for sharing all of this with us! It brings me a lot of peace of mind!
Good tips!
My mom and I definitely have a kit like that. Had enough blackouts in vegas for it to become necessary.
I am so not prepared like I should be....every time I add to my storage, somethign else gets used up and depleted....
oh well, right? I will keep on trying.....
