Regular Randomness..Keeps one..Well, Regular

-I often wish that the comment boxes of blogdom had spell checker. Yes, I know that google is just a click away. But how much easier would a built in spell checker be? This is where I apologize to all -for all my bad spelling habits in your comment box.

-Speaking of comment boxes...I have discovered that I use the exclamation point...A LOT when commenting. I guess I just get so excited, I can't contain myself. I'm really not yelling at Y.O.U.

-I have officially experienced my first sun-burn of the season. Happens every year. I get excited, go out to play and don't think about applying the sunblock. Now that we've got that out of the way, I'm keeping the SPF 50 handy. Yes. SPF 50. I can't have beautiful alabaster skin like my grandmother if I expose it to the harsh rays of the sun.

-I have been in a real blog funk over the past few weeks. I began to wonder if I was...dare I say it, blogged out. But, the pendulum has swung and I am back into the groove of things. My not-so-witty self is back to commenting -like the days of old. Anyone else notice the funk, followed by a glimmer of spunk?

I use a lot of exclamation points in comments. I'm not sure why.

WOOHOO!

Kristina P. 20 April, 2009 15:49

Jillene 20 April, 2009 16:02

Martha@A Sense of Humor is Essential 20 April, 2009 16:03

I am totally with you on the blog funk. It happens, every relationship has its' ups and downs, even URL ones!
So true about the spell check for comments.

Unknown 20 April, 2009 16:06

my browser SAFARI {used with my mac} has a spell check
to use anyplace i type. it just underlines said word, and i go to the top left hand corner in the menu to the edit button there is a spell check for any misspelled word.
i never knew there was an SPF 50 i don't need higher than 15..lol!
i use A LOT of !!! also!

I think we all get in a funk from time to time. I also wish the comment box had spell check and, I find I use!!!!!!!! way tooo often. Glad to know I am not the only one.

Erin 20 April, 2009 16:24

Ah yes, the blog funk. I tend to get it about once a day. I definitely go back and forth.

I like randomness. I think in random patterns - why don't I blog more frequently in random patterns?

Country Mouse, City Mouse 20 April, 2009 16:31

glad you are out of your funk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just SO 20 April, 2009 17:45

The only reason I've had something to blog about is because my kids were on Spring break so I just blogged about what we did. I'm glad you are coming out of your funk.

I totally over-exlamation-point my comments too!! And I do this a lot......the dots.....dot dot dot....

Jamie 20 April, 2009 18:00

Everything should have spell check. Have you ever read anything on craigslist? I like to think it is a bunch of kindergarteners posting, that way I don't prematurely judge the authors.

Ah, funk happens. I've not been in a funk, but so far behind with blogging that I don't know where to pick back up. Take a break and before long things will happen that will make you think "this is a good blog topic" or "I should blog about this". Seriously!

Jo 20 April, 2009 19:33

I use a lot of exclamation points too. And I wish there was a spell checker for the blog comments, cause my spelling is not very good.
Glad you are back on the blogwagon, cause I would miss you DREADFULLY if you went away forever.

trublubyu 20 April, 2009 23:03

Baby Rocket Dog and Hootie 20 April, 2009 23:12

hehehe. Here's the secret for misspelling in the comments box: Blog as a dog!! We dogs deliberately use incorrect spelling because it's cute. Like this: Youuuu look fAb-U-Luss dahlink!! See, now you try it!

I'm blogged out too I think. Just not feeling it, but I like the title of this post. Clever girl!!!!!!!!!!

Leslie 21 April, 2009 09:10

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who always uses exclamation points! Hahaha!

Blog funk? About every three weeks...

Sheri, RN 21 April, 2009 10:40

Beautiful pic of the sunflower. :) I use too many exclamation points in comment boxes too and smiley faces.

If you use firefox, I think the Ad Block Plus addon has a spell check.

A Friendly Reader Only 21 April, 2009 11:54

I always seem to use a lot of explanation marks in my comments too! I guess it is trying to express that I truly am excited about your blog. I tend to get so busy that I am not able to be on the computer as much as I would like and then when I finally get to do something I enjoy - I go hog wild!! :}

Elisa 21 April, 2009 13:46

The blog funk must be contagious... cause I've had it too.

Maybe its cause its spring? And we're all outside basking in the sun?

Jessica G. 21 April, 2009 16:34

Dude, I totally over-use the exclamation point! (and I say "dude" too much.)

Dawn Parsons Smith 21 April, 2009 18:48

Blog Funk has settled all over the land of blog, my friend! I actually stayed away from the computer yesterday and today (until now..lol!)

Yes, I can feel your spark sparking!

I am happy you are feeling witty again! Hooray!

kel 23 April, 2009 07:04

I almost always use all lower caps and spell things wrong!

Donna 23 April, 2009 10:59

I did notice that you were gone for awhile. I'm glad you're back again!
I too am a sunblock queen. No sunburns or skin cancer or premature wrinkles for us!
