I'm Glad You Asked...

The Queen of Blog herself, Ms. Kristina and our very own Georgia Peach Ms. Randi has asked:

"How are you able to manage so many blogs?"

The truth is I don't. I am down to just 3 blogs. The one you are currently reading, Blog Stalkers Unite, and Royal Reviews. Blog number three -Royal Reviews is slotted for immediate destruction in the near future. I am just having a hard time letting it go.

I manage what I do have, with two very important tools. A calendar and my steno notepad. The calendar I keep saved on my desktop, reminding me of BSU events (i.e. who's up next for Top Blog, Scripted Sundays topics..etc.). The notebook I carry in my purse, or it can be found in my car.

The ramblings I share on my blog (this one especially) flow from me like water. In an attempt to mop up the mess and keep my feet dry, I jot it all down in my notebook. Then late at night, after my boys have gone to bed for the night, I transfer it all to a drafted or scheduled post. I have pages and pages of things just waiting to grace my blogs front. Its all I've got some days to not push publish on 3 or 4 at a time. Because despite my quiet and reserved demeanor, I have quite a bit to say.

So there ya have it. The secrets you never wanted to know about why I have so much to say and why it takes so many blogs to contain this restless soul.

BSU seems like a full-time job itself! I have a hard enough time with one blog!

You do a great job with both.

you do a great job, its not easy to fit blogging in with life...so well done, and we are glad you manage it!

You are still my Queen!

I am a huge fan of the steno pad. My sister berates me all of the time for not using high tech gadgetry, but I'm just an old school kind of girl!

(I still crack up everytime I see that photo of your cutie pie on the top right doing the hypno moves on us!)

I didn't realize you also do BSU! So kudos to you for taking so much on and managing it gracefully!

You are SuperWoman! You can do it!

Lee 10 April, 2009 16:13

I don't know how you manage it.
I can barely manage my one blog.

I wish I had more to say. I'm pretty quiet. And you do a fabulous job with BSU! I thought I was following that blog but I don't think I am. Off to make sure it gets put on my reader.

I envy your ability to have scores of blog posts in draft. I write one at a time, day by day. I should learn a thing or two from you.

I always enjoy reading your blog and you always add some excitement to my hum-drum life. Keep on Writing - :}

When I haven't visited your blog for a while I start having withdrawal symptoms! I enjoy hearing your thoughts and touching, sometimes funny, stories!! I don't always comment(a true BS?)but do get a kick out of you. I also admire how you keep all the balls up in the air. Busy little lady! I have to admit, I get confused as to how the BSU thing works. I've never "signed on" because I don't understand it. Anywho, you are quite a fun person to read and I like your style! X-C
ps-telling me i'm not old certainly won points with me too!!

You are way too organized. I wish I was that way.

Are you still taking questions?

Donna 13 April, 2009 12:23

You're lucky to have so many things to write about. I get writer's block on my blog quite a bit sometimes.
Royal Reviews is a good book blog. I wish I'd reviewed for it like I'd originally planned on doing, but I ended up not having enough time to do it. I'm sure you're familiar with the feeling!

Elisa 13 April, 2009 14:03

{slaps her head} A calendar on the computer! Doh! You are brilliant!

It is so much work. And then it's not fun. And it seems like a job. And then people are mean. And you want to blow it all up.

Whew. I feel better now.
