SOLD!

>>  Monday, February 16, 2009

Anyone see something a little unusual about this scene? Maybe the lack of furniture? Yes, that could be it! Earlier this week -after we had settled down to our new carpet, we discussed new couches. It is something we have been wanting to do. Something we have talked about.

We shopped around, and found some we liked. Kyle insinuated that if I could sell the set that was in the living room, the new set would be mine. I dare you to challenge me! Because at approximately 9:00pm last night, I posted a KSL ad. 6 emails, 9 phone calls and one appointment later, this is what came of my living room furniture. SOLD! Gone! The first person I called back, the first appointment made, they showed up in their Cadillac Escalade, trailer in tow, handed me their hard earned cash and drove away, having earned themselves my living room furniture!Now, we just have to figure out how to share the two chairs left, between the four of us! Anyone up for a party? BYOC...Bring Your Own Chair!

I love ksl.com classified ads. Unfortunately, it doesn't work way out here in the boonies very well. When I lived in Orem it was AWESOME.

I'm glad you were able to sell your couches! Good luck finding ones you love!

This problem is easily solved, my friend. Boot your kids to the floor. Only parents rank high enough in the household to be able to sit in the chairs.

Oh, and as for parties, just tell people you are "going green" and have decided not to buy furniture. :)

You're welcome!

Good work you little wheeler-dealer!! Never heard of KSL before. It took me AGES to finally buy our pottery barn sofa(about 7 yrs ago). I'm sure PB employees thought I was casing the joint I went back so many times to sit on it and decide! I love it because I have 3 diff. slip covers and it looks like a new sofa when I change them out. ;<) Can't wait to see your new one!! {{hugs}}

I hear so many great stories about KSL. I have looked at couches and the one I want is always sold, like '10 minutes ago!'

That is a great picture of your boys :-)

I am addicted to CL this way. I am scouring for a "new" dining room table because I can't seem to find what I want in furniture stores.

Can't wait to see the complete picture.

Congrads!! - All in one day!! Can't wait to see what you get to fill the space. I have some lawn chairs I could bring - I have seen on the web that lawn furniture is the new thing for front rooms. LOL
