Three Week Recap #1

A little over 4 years ago, I hosted my first Thanksgiving. It was my show, the guests would be arriving at my house -expecting to be fed. With the help of a sister-in-law...two new traditions were born.

The first tradition is Chocolate Covered Turkeys:
That first year, we used them as place cards. Writing our guests names on the Turkeys Feather and placing them on the tables. Since then, we simply make them as a family and enjoy them in the days that follow Thanksgiving. Simple and depending on the year, archaic, they taste good and make for good memories!

Making them is a simple process that involves some key ingredients:

The second tradition born that year is the Infamous Turkey Hats:
They too vary from year to year, depending on the supplies available, but they bring smiles to the faces of my boys and Mason is never too proud to wear his!
