One of Those Moments...

Have you ever had one of those moments when you realize that someone you respect, enjoy the company of, just ate lunch with, or served homemade cookies at your last get-together doesn't wash their hands in the restroom?
Have you ever been in a public restroom you share with a close group of your peers, when someone comes in, uses the stall next to you and then leaves without washing their hands? Leaving you wondering, who the offender may be and weary of those you are coming in contact with?
It's these sort of moments that keep me from partaking of the "pot-luck" lunch that was organized in the employee break-room, or being care free enough to enjoy a snack upon returning to my desk -without first washing my hands.
You my think me strange and neurotic. Maybe I am. And maybe you like consuming a healthy does of this every time you refuse to wash your hands. Gross!

uhhh, EWWWW! No, thank goodness I haven't had that happen, so I will remain blissfully ignorant, thank you.
I just don't even want to know.
Oh I have seen it. This is why there are only certain people's food I will eat at church functions. I have also seen some people that let their cats up on the counter tops and said cats have licked out of pans/bowls etc. NASTY!!
Yeah, ward potlucks are the worst for me, I always eat before I go.
ick!
I have an excessive handwashing problem. I think it stems from me being a nurse, but if I think my hands are remotely dirty I have to wash them. I have hand sanitizer in my purse and my car and use it everytime I get in or if I am going out to eat. I guess what doesn't kill you makes you stronger... but I have become this way because of experiences like your own.
I still get surprised any time I catch someone not washing their hands after using the bathroom. I just can't understand why people wouldn't wash their hands. What the heck is that a picture of??
That grosses me out. But your job is very dirty too! Doesn't it gross you out to be around all that?
Okay, don't freak out here, because I want to say that I do wash my hands so much they are like, drying out... but sometimes if I am with my kids at the park and the bathrooms are really gross I am more scared of sinks faucets and touching them to wash (especially with no soap and a dirty towel loop hanging down) that I leave without washing. I don't go eat, mind you, I just find my anti-bac rub or wait until I get home to wash. But some bathrooms scare me! So if you see me at the park please look away
hee hee. I think you should have waited and entered that in Shelle's Have you Ever contest on Monday.
Ew. But what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. That doesn't mean I don't wash my hands. That's just nasty.
My sister cleans at her hubby's work and she never has to refill the bosses soap. EWWW, think of how many people's hands he shakes a day!
