Yodel-Ay-Ee-Oooo

My feet are tired, my neck is sun-burned, my head is spinning with new craft ideas and I now have a much LONGER list of "I wants" (as if it wasn't long enough).

I spent the majority of my day in Midway at the annual Swiss Days Festival. For those of you that have never experienced it, it is quite the event. Think The Quilted Bear on steroids mixed with Navajo, I mean Swiss Tacos, Scones, and Yodeling. We started early, and were there at 8am, when the vendor booths opened. It only took approximately 2 hours before we were elbow to elbow with what felt like 10,000 people. At one point, I actually had the thought, "Please tell methis will end soon...." as I looked down a long aisle of white tents housing the vendor booths.

Luckily for my husband, the event will end tonight. But, I am already looking forward to next year! Yodel-Ay-Ee-Ooooooooo!

I wanted to go this year, but we didn't make it. I've never been. I love Midway, though. It's such a cute little quaint town.

I have to agree, about Midway, its a Great little town. We are already making plans for next year. So put it on your calendar, you can shop with us, if you don't find any willing participants to go with you..
